Dr. Frank J. Ferraro received his undergraduate education at St. John’s University in Queens, New York, North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Medical School in Newark, New Jersey, where he also completed a Categorical 5-Year Surgical Residency.
Dr. Ferraro continued his training with a Hand Rotation Fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Ferraro is currently in practice in Paramus at Plastic Surgery Specialists of New Jersey, which specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, and offers a variety of aesthetic plastic surgery procedures.
In addition to his busy practice, Dr. Ferraro has co-authored more than fifteen different publications concerning various plastic-surgery topics, and has given numerous presentations to well-known medical societies. He has been awarded for excellence several times, including being named Hackensack University Medical Center Resident of the Year in 1992–1993. He also serves as Vice-President of the Ferraro Foundation for Disabled Physicians.
Dr. Ferraro is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgery, and the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.
