I have had an exceptional experience with Dr. Ferraro and his office thus far. I came to Dr. Ferraro after having a hernia recurrence after a previous repair, as well as diastasis recti from a twin pregnancy that together consistently ached, made me feel weak, prevented me from exercising, and even affected my digestion. Dr. Ferraro performed an incisional hernia repair and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), and I am currently six weeks post surgery. Appointments are always on time and the office staff is always friendly and helpful. From the very first visit, Dr. Ferraro seemed confident and experienced, yet approachable and patient. He had a clear plan and point of view, yet he definitely listened to my concerns and answered every question. His bedside manner is really great, and he is very responsive – he or his office return messages within hours. He clearly understood and agreed with my wish to not only look great, but to feel great and regain my core strength. My surgery actually involved another surgeon, and Dr. Ferraro and his office were super flexible, cooperative, and communicative. After the surgery, there were (and still are!) many follow up appointments so that Dr. Ferraro could monitor my healing. I really felt taken care of and like I was in good hands. Dr. Ferraro was also honest and direct with me about what to expect and the healing process. Physically, I am doing really well. I am still healing, but I look and feel better every week. I can’t wait to see the final results! I would definitely recommend him to anyone and a few of my family members have already considered calling him for their own purposes!
