I received a breast reduction from Dr. Ferraro at 29 years old. I was fed up with the heaviness I’ve been carrying around, especially as it limited me in my active lifestyle and caused back and neck pain. I live in NYC and saw one doctor here in the city before Dr. Ferraro for a consultation. The first doctor was overly cocky, pushy and forced his “spiel” on me before I could explain why I was there or ask my questions. Elective surgery is a big deal and everyone handles it differently, and this doctor did not seem to care or recognize that!

Dr. Ferraro was the opposite of my first consult. In addition to having a pretty great mustache, he has the experience and confidence you want in a doctor (especially a surgeon), but also came in ready to listen to my questions and understand my motivations. He made the process easy by helping me navigate the decision rather than forcing it on me, and at no point did I feel like I wasn’t in the very best of hands.

Support staff at the surgical center (and the brand new facility itself) was top notch, and affordable transportation from NYC to NJ was provided. After my surgery, the first week was the only hard part. After that, I was back to spin class in exactly 4 weeks. I still tell anyone who asks: I felt better 4 weeks post-op with one normal sports bra than I did my whole life with my large breasts (and wearing 2 sports bras). I feel free, and Dr. Ferraro last left me with absolutely no regrets.
