For Everyone
This superficial-to-medium-depth peel can be used by nearly anyone, regardless of your skin type or color. While some other treatments can only be used on certain skin tones, this one is amazing for most any skin type.
Results
The Obagi Blue Peel helps to reverse the effects of aging, sun damage and other skin conditions in a short hour appointment. This peel improves skin’s appearance by removing dead skin cells and promoting the growth of new ones. It can be used on the face, the neck, decollete, hands, arms, legs, and even the back to treat fine lines, wrinkles, large pores, scarring, and hyperpigmentation. You may want to come in for multiple treatments, depending on your concerns.
Acids
The Obagi Blue Peel chemical peel uses trichloroacetic acid (TCA), combined with the patented Obagi Blue Base, to peel off layers and layers of damaged skin. After the peel is applied, you may experiences a slight burning sensation that can last for a few minutes. That’s totally normal and means that the peel is working. Generally, treatment time is less than an hour. After your peel is complete, the treated skin has a bluish tint to it, which will wash off within twenty four hours.
Aftercare
Care for your skin as you would after any other chemical peel. Stay out of the sun as much as possible, or wear sunscreen to help protect the new skin as it is revealed.
