The use of Alloderm by LifeCell is an FDA approved product with excellent results. The seroma and infection rate are problematic though. I would use SERI to see if this can be alleviated and to reduce the side effects. The product is not FDA approved just 501K or premarket notification. A large comparison study is needed.
